Beskrivelse
Prior to the invention of manned flight, the concept of airspace was considered to be ‘free’ – meaning that no nation or state had any claim to it. However, the development of airplanes as an instrument of war during WWI (1914-1918), also opened up the door for commercial aviation, and with it came the need for international laws and regulations.
At this event, we are lucky to be visited by associate professor James P. Baldwin from the University of Maryland & Emirates Aviation University, among others.
Baldwin will tell us about the history and development of aviation, as well as touch on the history of commercial aviation.
This event will take place at our Copenhagen base at Copenhagen Airport, Lufthavnsboulevarden 10, 2770 Kastrup.
