The programme will give you an overall understanding of wind energy. You will get a thorough knowledge of the technologies used in the production of wind energy.
You will be able to work together with scientists, developers and producers of windmills.
You will learn to analyse, design, develop and manage wind energy systems and you will study areas such as:
- Aerodynamics
- Aeroelasticity
- Mechanics
- Connection of Wind Turbines to the Grid
- High Power Electronics
You will be able to specialise in the electrical or the mechanical field of wind energy.
Teaching varies between lectures, classroom instruction, exercises and project work together with other students. Students are encouraged to participate in class discussions.
The final 6-12 months you will be making your MSc thesis. The thesis is a scientific research project, often carried out in collaboration with one of university's industrial partners.
