The programme is about energy technology and systems with focus on the environment.
Examples of courses in the programme are:
- Energy Resources, Markets and Policies
- Modelling and Analysis of Sustainable Energy Systems
- Sustainability Assessment of Energy Conversion and Use
You can choose between these study lines:
- Thermal Energy
- Biofuels
- Electric Energy Systems
- Hydrogen and Fuel Cells
- Energy Savings
Teaching varies between lectures, classroom instruction, exercises and project work together with other students. Students are encouraged to participate in class discussions.
The final 6 months you will be making your MSc thesis. The thesis is a scientific research project, often carried out in collaboration with one of university's industrial partners.

If you choose to complete the master's degree programme, you will graduate with the academic title of Master of Science in Engineering.
