Service Systems Design

The master programme in Service Systems Design, which is taught in English, will provide you with technical qualifications in planning and organizing people, infrastructure, communication, media and human components of a service.

Graduates will be qualified to work with technical development and management in the communications sector with traditional telecommunication, mobile, internet and broadband technologies.

You will gain insight into industrial design and information technology and learn about the interaction between user and service provider enabling you to contribute to the planning and management of a company’s services.

About the programme

On the programme, you will gain technical skills in planning management, infrastructure, communication, media and the human aspect of services.

You will study subjects such as:

Industrial Design, as it relates to products, services and office environments.
Information Technology (programming and interface design), which covers interaction between users and service providers and service communication support.
Engineering Management, which covers functional and organisational structures that support services throughout a company.

Teaching varies between lectures and classroom instruction. In addition, there is often project work together with other students. Students are encouraged to participate in class discussions.

If you choose to complete the master degree programme, you will graduate with the academic title of Master of Science (MSc) in Service Systems Design.

Entry Requirements

To be admitted to an MSc programme, you must have a bachelor degree in a relevant subject.

In addition, documentation may be required verifying your proficiency in English is at a specified level.
