You will be taught the technical and scientific skills needed to solve problems and meet challenges in the pharmaceutical industry.
The programme will provide you with a vocabulary in pharmaceutical technology and enable you to specialise further in the field of your bachelor degree.
The programme covers the design, development, manufacture and distribution of drugs, diagnostics, medicinal nanotechnology and biotechnology products.
The study courses include:
- Assay technology
- Molecular microbiology
- Nanotechnology (including lab-on-a-chip)
- Bioinformatics
- Eukaryote and prokaryotecells
- Cell biology and disease development
- The drug development process
- Quality by design
- Vaccine development and production
- Pre-clinical and clinical development
- Project management
- Patent application and legislation
Teaching varies between lectures, classroom instruction and laboratory work. The study and work form is based on project groups. Students are encouraged to participate in class discussions.

If you choose to complete the master degree programme, you will graduate with the academic title of Master of Science in Engineering (MSc).
