Electrical Engineering

The programme in Electrical Engineering covers theory, methods, components, systems and applications You will learn about the production of electricity, electronic devices, mobile communications and robotics.

Graduates of the programme will be qualified to work in the development and research departments of large industrial companies, for small high-tech companies and for research institutions.

About the Programme

You will learn to analyse and develop different kinds of advanced electrical systems.

You will obtain the scientific basis for working with such things as: acoustics, superconductors, satellites or the design of integrated circuits.

There are 5 study lines to choose from:

Acoustics
Automation and Robot Technology
Electric Energy Systems
Space Technology
Wireless Engineering

During the final six months you will be writing your MSc thesis. The thesis is a scientific research project, often carried out in collaboration with one of the university's industrial partners.

Graduation from the master degree programme confers the title Master of Science (MSc) in Electrical Engineering.

Entry Requirements

To be admitted to an MSc programme, you must have a bachelor degree in a relevant subject.

In addition, documentation may be required verifying your proficiency in English is at a specified level.

Admission

Tuition

There is a tuition fee for all full-degree students, unless you are a student from an EU/EEA country, or from Switzerland.

Students within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.

Semester Start

An academic year is made up of two semesters, which begin around September 1 and February 1.
