International Business and Politics

The programme gives you an international approach to economics and knowledge of the political situations companies must take into account.

The programme combines economics with politics in a global perspective. You will study the relationship between international economics, civil society, governments and political institutions, and learn how to develop solutions to specific problems.

On the master programme you will gain in-depth knowledge of such subjects as:

• The internationalisation of business and corporate strategies for relations with political institutions and other companies
• Economic theory and practice
• The international role of business in relation to such things as environment, human rights, conflicts etc.

Teaching varies between lectures and classroom instruction. In addition, there is often project work together with other students. Students are encouraged to participate in class discussions.

If you choose to complete the master degree programme, you will graduate with the academic title of Master of Science (MSc).

To be admitted to an MSc programme, you must have a bachelor degree in a relevant subject.

In addition, documentation may be required verifying your proficiency in English is at a specified level.

Tuition

There is a tuition fee for all full-degree students, unless you are a student from an EU/EEA country, or from Switzerland.

Students within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.

Semester Start

An academic year is made up of two semesters, which begin around September 1st and February 1st.

Copenhagen Business School

At the Copenhagen Business School International Business and Politics can be studied as a 2-year MSc programme (120 ECTS).

You also have the possibility of taking single courses or subjects within the programme.

The programme can also be studied as a 3 year bachelor.
