IT products are a standard element in everyday life. They can be small like mobile phones, mp3 players and the GPS in a car or larger products such as industrial robots.
The programme covers, amongst other things, computer science subjects such as programming, web technology, information systems, data structures and system development, but you also learn about design, interactive design, innovation and project management.
There are a number of required courses in the following areas:
- Interactive design for pervasive computing
- Advanced web technology
- Physics and special design
In addition there is an innovation project and the chance to follow supplementary courses from the Computer Science Institute, Aarhus School of Engineering, the Business School, Aarhus University and the Aarhus Academy of Architecture.
Teaching varies between lectures, tutorials and more project oriented work often in groups. It is possible to include an internship in a Danish or an international company.
