Public Health is an interdisciplinary programme that focuses on improving the health and well-being of all social groups. You will learn to assess the influence of behaviour, environment and social conditions on physical and mental health.
The programme aims to provide skills and expertise in relation to the field of public health science so that graduates can work with health promotion systems for a given population.
You will gain a broad understanding of the theories and methods of public health science and learn to work with public health problems in relation to everyday living conditions.

Advanced Epidemiology
You will be able to specialise in one of three tracks:
- Health Promotion, which covers both planning and communication.
- Global Health, which is about the harmonisation and diversity of global health. You will also learn about sovereignty.
- Health Economics and Management, which includes change and knowledge management and health technology assessment.
Teaching varies between lectures and classroom instruction. In addition, there is often project work together with other students. Students are encouraged to participate in class discussions.

If you choose to complete the master degree programme, you will graduate with the academic title of Master of Science (MSc) in Public Health.
