On the International Bachelor Study Programme in Social Sciences, you will study social science in general and specialise in two subjects.
During the first 18 months you will acquire an inter-disciplinary approach to the theory and methods of social science. You will be taught subjects such as economics, political science, sociology and planning, spatiality and resources.
In the second 18 months, you will specialise in two bachelor subjects. One of these must be in social science. You can take courses in subjects such as; business studies, administration, global studies, international development studies, finance, health promotion and planning, spatiality and resources.
You can choose your second subject from the remaining bachelor courses and you are welcome to choose a science or humanity subject. See the full list of courses on the university web site.
Teaching varies between lectures and classroom instruction. In addition, there is often project work together with other students. Project work makes up about half of the study. Students are encouraged to participate in class discussions.

International Bachelor Study Programme in Social Sciences is a 3-year BSc programme at Roskilde University, and gives 180 ECTS credits.
You also have the possibility to take single courses or subjects within the programme.
