On the EU-studies programme you learn about the relationship between the European Commission, the European Parliament and the European Court and gain insight into the structure, development, legal basis, decision-making process and interaction with the outside world.
You gain insight into issues concerning the different member states; the former super powers, the new eastern member states and the Mediterranean countries, all of whom have distinctive economic and political characteristics
As well as the political structure of the member states, you will learn about industry, trade unions and other stakeholders and how important the political activities of their lobby organisations are e.g. in Brussels.
Teaching varies between lectures, classroom instruction and project work in groups. Students are encouraged to participate in class discussions.
