The Business Administration and Service Management programme gives you the skills to work in the service industry. The programme is based on business economics, with a focus on: tourism, cultural institutions, passenger transportation and leisure.
You will study business administration and get an understanding of the different needs enterprises and organisations have in connection with their work and development. You get a broad social scientific and humanistic insight into culture, society and corporate life.
You will become familiar with general business economic as well as traditional economic theory, but also theories specifically aimed at the service industry. You will learn to analyse and address economic and managerial projects within the four main areas:
- Tourism
- Cultural institutions, for example theatres and museums
- Sport and leisure
- Transportation
Core subjects in the programme include marketing, economics, strategy and specific subjects that focus on the service branch.
Teaching varies between lectures and classroom instruction. In addition, there is often project work together with other students. Students are encouraged to participate in class discussions.

If you choose to complete the bachelor degree programme, you will graduate with the academic title Bachelor of Science
(BSc).
