The humanities programme provides general knowledge of humanities and specialisation in two elective subjects.
During the first 18 months you will acquire an inter-disciplinary approach to the theory and methods of humanities. You will be taught subjects such as linguistics, contemporary literature, journalism and modern media. There are also courses in history, cultural studies, pedagogy and psychology.
In the second 18 months, you will specialise in two bachelor subjects. One of these must be in humanities. This means that you choose either; Danish, English, philosophy and scientific theory, history, journalism, communication, cultural encounters, performance design, psychology, pedagogy, heath promotion or German.
You can choose your second subject from the remaining bachelor courses and you are welcome to choose a science or social science subject. See the full list of courses on the university web site.
Teaching varies between problem-oriented project work in groups, courses and lectures. Project work makes up about half of the study.
