The programme combines expertise in management of information, communication and knowledge with organisational studies, information technology and professional communicative skills in English.
You will learn how knowledge and information is communicated and used by individuals and organisations. In the programme, you will also learn how to design information architectures, develop communication plans and strategies, and manage projects.
The programme consists of courses within three areas:
-
Information Management, where you learn, for example, about the technologies and theories for the structuring and analysing of information. You will also learn about theories and conventions for the design of user interfaces and data visualisation
-
Communication Studies, which integrate theoretical insight and practical skills in communication. At the same time, you will train your oral and written proficiency in the English language.
-
Organisational Studies, where you learn theories of organisations, how they communicate and share knowledge.
Teaching varies between lectures and classroom instruction. In addition, there is often project work together with other students. Students are encouraged to participate in class discussions.
