The programme in Chemical and Biotechnical, Food and Process Technology will qualify you to cooperate across the disciplines of the food industry both nationally and internationally.
This is a top-up programme for laboratory technicians and process technologists.
The programme contains three specialisations, of which you must choose one:
- Biotechnology, which consists of such things as cell biology, chemical analysis and the production and analysis of bio-molecules.
- Food technology, which consists of such things as food technology, microbiology, safety and innovation.
- Process technology, which consists of such things as the operation and maintenance of process equipment, calibration systems, resource management and the work environment.
In addition there are electives and compulsory courses in core subjects: test planning, production and quality control, communication, corporate matters and basic scientific subjects.
Teaching is a combination of lectures, assignments and project work.
There is a work placement in a company in Denmark or abroad.

Chemical and Biotechnical, Food and Process Technology can be studied as a:
- 1½-year top-up bachelor programme (90 ECTS)
You also have the possibility to take single courses or subjects within the programme.
If you choose to complete the bachelor degree programme, you will graduate with the academic title Bachelor in Chemical and Biotechnical, Food and Process Technology.
