Producing goods, distributing and selling them create value for a company. As a student of Value Chain Management you will learn ways of getting an overview of the complex relations of the entire value chain in order to optimise it.
You will learn to link the different activities in a company together so the right people in the value chain obtain the necessary information. This way the goods can flow steadily and easily to the benefit of the company and its partners.
The 3 1/2 year bachelor programme includes an internship for one semester in a company in Denmark or abroad.
You will study subjects such as:
- Mathematics
- Supply Chain Management
- Forecast and Inventory Management
- Marketing Management
- Production Optimisation and Quality Control
You will be able to choose subjects relating to one of these profiles:
- Production Management and Information Technology
- Global Business Development
- Transport and Distribution (if you have an AP degree in logistics and transport)
The final semester you will be writing your bachelor thesis.
Teaching varies between lectures and project group work. Students are encouraged to participate in class discussions.

Value Chain Management can be studied as a:
- 3½-year bachelor programme (210 ECTS)
You also have the possibility to take single courses or subjects within the programme.
If you choose to complete the bachelor programme, you will graduate with the academic title Bachelor of Engineering.
