On the Automotive Technology programme you will learn to run diagnostics on the integrated and complementary components of automotive technology. You will learn to use the newest technologies and methods in the field of racing. This will provide you with knowledge of how mechanical and electronic adjustments can optimise car performance.
You will also learn about communication, planning, finance and management.
The programme will allow you to sharpen your professional profile.
Automotive Technology is an AP programme that last for 2 years. Teaching is divided into a compulsory part, consisting of specialised subjects and a common subject, and a specialised part consisting of electives, work placement and a final project.
The compulsory part:
- The common part consists of subjects such as finance, organisation and project management.
- The special subject part consisting of, among other things, technology, design, motor analysis and diagnostics, safety, bodywork and technical documentation.
In the specialised part of the programme you concentrate on the elective subjects. Electives include such subjects as mechanical and electronic tuning.
There is a work placement which includes a special work related project.
The final part of the programme contains a project where you demonstrate your ability to combine theory and practice in close cooperation with industry.
Teaching combines lectures on academic subjects and themes and contains both assignments and project work. The project work connects the common part of the programme with industry.

Automotive Technology is an Academy Profession (AP) Programme rated at 120 ECTS. The qualification is called an AP Degree - an Academy Profession Degree.
