The programme is divided into a compulsory part, which takes 1½ year, and an elective part that takes a ½ year.
In the first semester, you are introduced to the financial sector. In the second semester, you will go through financial consultancy to private customers and in the third semester, you will go through corporate financial consultancy, which includes the following subjects:
- Financial Enterprises and Markets
- Personal Economics
- Customer/client Relations
- Business Economics
- Management and Communications
- Global Economics
- Business Law
- Statistics
In the fourth semester, you must choose a specialisation and write your final examination project.
The specialisation period may consist of either a work placement in a company in Denmark or abroad
or theoretical studies at an institution of higher education in Denmark or abroad.
Teaching varies between lectures and classroom instruction. In addition, there is often project work with other students. Students are encouraged to participate in class discussions.

Financial Management is an Academy Profession (AP) Programme rated at 120 ECTS. The qualification is called an AP Degree - an Academy Profession Degree.
