Professional Bachelor Progammes

The Professional Bachelor Programmes consist of a combination of theory and practice and normally covers 3 ½ year (210 ECTS). The practical education is in the form of work-experience at a workplace and covers approximately 6 months in total.

A Professional Bachelor Programme is often associated with certain industries, and work-experience placements are a natural part of this programme. Professionel Bachelor Programmes are found in many different industries, public as well as private.

Some Professional Bachelor Programmes are structured so that the last one and a half years can be used as top-up programmes for relevant Academy Profession (AP) Programmes.

Programme Subject Areas (Fields)

  • Art and Design Programmes

    The programmes in this field are related to visual creation, communication and expression. This could e.g. be in the form of films, photos or drawings.

  • Social Health Care Programmes

    As part of the Social and Health Care Programmes you learn how to work with people's physical health and general health as well as their bodies and well-being.

  • Social Studies and Economics Programmes

    The subject areas within this field include business administration, organisation theory, management, information technology and economics.

  • Technical Programmes

    Included in the technical fields of the Professional Bachelor’s Programmes are the engineering programmes as well as other programmes with a technical subject matter.
