General Upper Secondary School

After finishing primary and lower secondary school education, you will be able to go on to get an upper secondary education which takes 1 to 3 years.

In Denmark, only one upper secondary education programme is in English. This is the 2-year International Baccalaureate (IB). This programme is academically oriented and prepares you for higher education programmes.
