Programmes in English

In Denmark, a large number of study programmes are taught in English with all examinations being conducted in English.

These programmes are open to foreign students who wish to get an education in Denmark. The programmes in English are taught at various levels and are of varying lengths.

As a foreign student in Denmark you will have to pay tuition fees. The fees vary depending on the type of programme and the educational institution.

Programmes

  • General Upper Secondary School

    After finishing the primary and lower secondary school education, you will be able to go on to get an upper secondary education which covers between 1 to 3 years.

  • Academy Profession Programmes

    The Academy Profession Programmes are as a main rule 2-year programmes (120 ECTS), but some may cover up to a further 6 months.

  • Professional Bachelor's Progammes

    The Professional Bachelor’s Programmes consist of theoretical as well as practical education and normally covers 3 ½ year (210 ECTS).

  • University Programmes

    The universities offer 3-year bachelor's programmes (180 ECTS) and 2-year master's programmes (120 ECTS).

  • Master's Programmes

    Master's programmes normally extend, part-time, over a period of two years. They usually take form as taught courses, and students are also required to submit a final dissertation.
